    Meadowsweet is a medicinal herb rich in salicylates, such as salicin. It has been traditionally used to support digestion and joint health. Our herbal extract contains an optimal concentration of the active compounds, delivering reliable results.

    Herbal Composition:

    Meadowsweet [Filipendula ulmaria]

    Therapeutic Indications:

    • Anti-inflammatory
    • Gout
    • Fever
    • Cystitis
    • Hyperacidity
    • Heartburn
    • Gastritis
    • Peptic Ulcers

    Method of Administration:

    • Recommend consulting your general health practitioner before giving your child medication.

    The recommended amount of drops, in 30 to 50 ml cold (or hot to evaporate alcohol) tea, water or juice, before meals:

    Normally 3 times per day,

    Otherwise acute cases can be, 2 HRLY

    20 drops equivalent to 1/2 tsp:

    • Adults and children over 12 years -20 Drops

    Contraindications:

    If you’re taking aspirin, use caution with the herb, since it contains salicylic acid, the active component in aspirin. And if you have an aspirin allergy or salicylate sensitivity, avoid meadowsweet altogether.

    Salsalate (Disalcid) interacts with MEADOWSWEET

    • Avoid if allergic to any of the ingredients.
