Echinaforce Forte Tablet

• Prevention and treatment of colds and flu
• Relief from respiratory tract infections
• Immune system modulation

Adults and children over 12 years:

• To prevent colds and flu: Take 1 tablet daily before meals.
• At times of increased infection risk: Take 1 tablet up to x2 a day.
• In acute cases:  Take 1 tablet x3-5 times per day before meals. [Tablet can be chewed or taken with water] 15 minutes before meals.

Children 6 – 12 years:

• Prevention dose: Take 1 tablet daily.
• In acute cases: Take 1 tablet x2 daily.

Use During Pregnancy: 

Usage during pregnancy should be done under the supervision of, and on recommendation of, a doctor.

• Do not use in cases of known hypersensitivity to the active substance, to plants of the Asteraceae (Compositae) family or to any of the excipients listed
• Because of their immunomodulatory activity, Echinacea extracts must not be used in cases of progressive systemic disorders, autoimmune diseases, immunosuppression and diseases of the white blood cell system.
• Concomitant use with immunosuppressant medicines.

• Those Sensitive to Allergens: These people should speak to their GP before using a product with echinacea.
  
• Those Allergic to Peanut or Soya: This product contains soya polysaccharides.
  
• Those with Lactose Sensitivities: A.Vogel Echinaforce® Forte contains lactose, which may have an effect on the glycaemic control of patients with diabetes mellitus. Patients with galactosaemia, Lapp lactase deficiency, glucose-galactose malabsorption, or fructose intolerance should not take A.Vogel Echinaforce® Forte.
