Description: Krill oil contains the best EPA and DHA forms of omega-3s, bound to phospholipids, not to triglyceride fats found in standard omega-3s from fish oil. This improves bioavailability and effectiveness, meaning lower doses can be used. These omega-3s are important for heart, brain and immune system health. They also help boost mood and prevent inflammatory disorders. Krill oil is also an excellent source of phosphatidylcholine, important for skin health, brain function and liver detoxification. It naturally contains astaxanthin, a powerful antioxidant.
Directions: Adults and children over 12 years of age: Take 1-2 capsules twice daily for one month, dropping to a maintenance dose of 1 capsule daily or twice daily thereafter. Children 4-12 years of age: Take 1 capsule daily. Take with or shortly after meals.
